| There are a lot of opinions and stirred emotions of late concerning George W. Bush. Did he steal the election? Should we have gone into Iraq to kick the hell out of the terrorists on foriegn soil as opposed to doing it on U.S. soil? Was Bush's All encompassing medical plan filled with expensive and useless loop holes? Everyone has an opinion whether Bush is doing a good job or not as our President. But to settle the debates once and for all....all we have to do is look at our U.S. borders and the answer will become clear. Our beloved Constitution clearly states that the U.S. President has a moral obligation and intrinsic duty to protect our U.S. soil from any and all invasions, foriegn and domestic: invasions which threaten our national security. Mexico is indeed a foreign country. And with 20 million plus criminal trespassers of Mexican citizenry now squatting on U.S. soil illegally, it is safe to say, Mexico has no doubt launched an all out invasion against the United States of America. And to put a stamp on that envelope, two of our border patrol agents will be sentences to prison in January 2007 for doing their job of protecting the sovereign border of the United States. The two border patrol agents fired upon an invading Mexican drug smuggler hitting him in the butt. The Invading drug smuggler was given amnesty so he could testify against the border agents in OUR federal court system. The agents were sentenced to 12 and 11 years respectively,bases on the sworn testimony of the criminal trespasser. It might be interesting to know, the Prosecutor of this case was appointed by President George W. Bush's team. Imagine that. Who's side is Bush on anyway?Is G.W. Bush mearely a simple moron; a stupid cowboy, ignorant of his duties concerning the ongoing invasion of U.S. soil? Or are we all witnesses to a well planned act of blatant Treason in the making? After you have read the U.S. Constitution, compare it with the invasion of our sovereign soil. In less than 10 minutes of research you too will be armed with enough knowledge to make an accurate conclusion based on the true facts of the matter. In my own onion...Bush should be impeached and held accountable in a criminal court for acts of Treason against the United States of American. Personally speaking, if found guilty, I also think he would perform better as a ladyboy in our prison system than he has as a U.S. President. If you need further proof of criminal wrong doing by the current Administration...look on the net at WWW.SPP.org. The plan of desolving our Sovereign U.S. nation is described in full detail there. With this knowledge, you too might be of the opinion that engaging in a civil war maybe inevitable if "we the people..." are to take back our country from the treasonous enemies of the U.S. If we do stand by and allow the fall of our country at the hands of such internal enemies, every other debate concerning Bush's performance can be counted as absolutely irrelevant. Fight or die....the time has come to decide. |

2) NCLB is most certainly NOT about improving education. You can't legislate mandatory improvements in students' performance on standardized tests, give no increased resources (money) with which the schools can work to improve their performance, and expect students to magically "get smarter." As near as I can tell, NCLB seems to be more concerned with shutting down public schools and allowing the government to take them over.

There's no reason for everybody not to get along, we don't only because the politicians fuel the fire of hatred between the regular people of the country. It's time we worked together and fought the status quo.
End the fighting between people, it just doesn't make any sense. We aren't Republicans or Democrats or blacks or whites or mexicans, we're PEOPLE!!! Start treating people like PEOPLE and not like the labels that are placed on them...

When the president invaded Iraq, he did not make America safer, he made it far more dangerous. Not only did we create a breeding ground for terrorists and give global terrorist organizations martyr after martyr after martyr, we overextended our military might and alienated our allies in the process.
We cannot withdraw from Iraq. The innocent Iraqi people would not be able to set up a democracy in the midst of a civil war. So now our entire Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force is preoccupied and immobilized. What would we do if North Korea launched a nuclear (noo-klee-uhr) warhead at us? We would have to rely on France and Germany, the only non-exausted western militaries remaining powerful enough to effectively neutralize said threat.

I agree that it is better to be safe than sorry, but in reality, had we gone about it the right way, we could have utilized our allies in NATO, such as France (the third most powerful military in the world) and Germany to find out the truth without firing a bullet. The US already knew that there were no weapons in Iraq, but we went anyway. The war has now cost more innocent lives than a single nuclear warhead detonated in downtown New York would have.
As a citizen of San Francisco, who feels that the nation is turning its back on Paris by the Bay, I am now concerned about the nuclear capabilities of North Korea. | I can already tell you're a racist. You may not want to admit it, but you're lumping all of the citizens of Iraq together. You implied that "iraqi boy" was another suicide bomber. Obviously, this is not the case. If he were, he'd be dead, having killed himself the first time. Iraq, like any nation after a war, is in turmoil. The government is split between Shiites and Sunnis who can't seem to agree on anything (sound familiar?), and the people are waging their own civil war. It is an intricate society where each person has his or her own opinion, and most of them are NOT suicide bombers. I think you should really watch who you imply is a terrorist. |

| i find it interesting how terrorists are blowing the hell out of civilians and have been, remember the first iraqi election? the terrorists chose the most unguarded voting places, in order to inflict the most damage to civilians. my god. i HATE the fact that anyone has to die in violent acts, it digusts me so much i could vomit.
