I definitely feel that celebrities have a profound influence on voter decisions. If you listen to a good amount of rap artists lyrics and interviews they will try to promote Obama and get everyone to vote for them. That's just one example of this influence that I've noticed a lot lately, there are of course more examples.

I'm afraid they do, whether or not they know anything about the platforms of who they are voting for they make their opinoins known and followers sometimes take that same view.

Most defnintely. I think that even celebrities realize how much influence they have or else they wouldn't so publicly voice their opinions. They hope to influence voters.

Although to a lesser extent than perhaps other factors, I think that celebrities can and do exerts influence on a demographic that tends to identify with them. The power of media and presentation can cause one to question their own values and principles, particularly in younger persons / situations where the family/home has not prepared them for these challenges.

I THINK SOMEONE LIKE OPRAH THAT IS SO LOVED BY THE PEOPLE HAS A DEFINITE INFLUENCE ON VOTERS BUT I THINK THE MEDIA HAS MORE INFLUENCE.

I feel that families and how they feel influence that decision more than celebrities.
