Well, If no one is going to say anything about Andy Coulouris,well I will.
Andy Coulouris is one of the reasons why the city of Saginaw is in the mess that it is in.
As a councilman, Andy cut police officers, cut garbage collection (Which is now out-sourced), cut recycling, cut recreation for our youth, put the city into debt, let two union contracts go without an agreement, worked for and campaigned for Congressman Dave Camp who is a Republican, was a member of the Saginaw Republican party when he was younger, and did nothing to clean up the blight in our city.
I could go on! I will!
He is the reason why our city went through three city managers in two years. He is the reason why the water rates went up all over our county. He was the chairman of the water commision. He cut the fire department. He is now campaigning on tax payers time. Maybe that is why we need more help at the county level.
He used his political pull to get his wife the job at the county health deparment.
He says that he wants to help fight crime. How can you do that when he cut many police officers on the force. You can not have it both ways. He says he wants to help the poor.
But look at the blight when he left office.
He says that he wants to the elderly, but look at what he did and did not do with the housing commission. Under his watch he let the city workers steal under his big nose.
My question is \"Why has any of the other candidates brought this up, and why are they not exposing ANDY for being one of the worst councilman in years?\" Andy is one of the biggest reasons why there was so much problems in city council.
On August 08, 2006, vote for one of the other four running for the 95th district.
