Last time, Thala said âI am Backâ and this time, heâs making it sure HEâs BACK. Yes, Cheer up Guys! For our Thala is striking back with the sequel of âBilla-2â with the same team. The film that was made before couple of years turned to be the biggest grosser and indeed proved to be a turning point for Thala.
The film will now be made at a bigger cost and shot in foreign locations. Vishnuvardhan has been signed for wielding the megaphone. According to media manager of Director Vishnuvardhan who has confirmed with Ajithfans.com, that he has finished the script and the project will go on floors next year.
It looks like producers of the film will be none other than Sivaji Productions as Ajith Kumar had previously promised them that heâll work for another project with the producers.
Let us keep our fingers crossed for the big bang duo!!!

Ajith association with Vishnuvardhan is well known especially their hit combo Billa. Vishnuvardhan is ready with a new script and with that Ajith will be seen in Billa2.This is should be one of the happiest news for Ajith fans since the role of a don is most suited for Ajith. Billa stood as new dimension in the Tamil industry especially with the stylish looks and trendy clothes.
Billa sequel was always on the cards especially after the tremndous response that we got for Billa. The shooting of Bill2 should starts by 2011 January. Right now Ajith is busy for his 50th film with Venkat Prabhu and the name of the movie is Mangatha. This movie will see Ajith and Naga Arjun in important roles. Ajith will come back with a bang and make a big impact with his forth coming movies. These are off course my predictions but we will wait and see what will be the real scenario.

Dont compare Simbu and Vijay with Ajith..Simbu and Vijay Started their carrier On 1987 and 1992 respectively whereas Ajith started his Carrier only on 1994:)

The 3 ediots may work in hindi , but in tamil its bit hard , the story has to be changed and should not hamper current education system , can also have a story line from abdul kalam life on education and intellegence.

The South Indian Film Artistes\' Association has resolved that artistes are merely workers and should not be held responsible for the profit or loss incurred by theatres.
At its 58th general body meeting here on Sunday, which was attended by a large number of actors, including the Association president Sarath Kumar and secretary Radha Ravi, the members discussed several issues, including visiting Sri Lanka and helping the displaced Tamils there. A debate on whether action should be taken on actors who travel to Sri Lanka was settled by passing a resolution that the association âstrongly objectedâ to actors being threatened or criticised through the media for personal trips made by some of them to Sri Lanka. The members also resolved that in future, a trip to that country by artistes would be decided after a conference with the members of the various associations.
âAn actor does not have anything to do with the business of screening films. Theatre owners cannot threaten actors with defamation cases and take them to court or seek compensation for losses incurred,â Association secretary Radha Ravi told The Hindu. âIn the Sri Lanka issue, we will stand by that the Central and State governments and offer our support to the displaced Tamils there,â he added.
âThe south Indian actors are part of the association. If actors have problems they should approach the association and get their grievance redressed. We object to artistes being threatened. If actors inform the association about their projects we would be able to help them in case of problems,â Mr. Radha Ravi said. âWe have requested that all artistes become members of the association latest by August 15.â Membership would help the association to discuss problems and issues with the Producers Council, he said.
Grapevine has it that director Shankar has contacted Simbu to do a role in 3 Idiots remake in Tamil, which he is directing with Vijay in the lead. The actor confirmed the news and said: \'It\'s too early to comment as talks are on and 3 Idiots is a film that I love. There is a message against today\'s educational system which is told in an entertaining manner. There are lot of other factors which has to be taken before I sign up...will take a decision on it soon\'.

SIFAA secretary Radha Ravi said, âAn actor does not have anything to do with the business of screening films. CHENNAI: The South Indian Artistes Association (SIAA), which had been threatening action against actor Asin for defying a ban and visiting war-ravaged Sri Lanka, has bought more time to arrive at a decision.
At the 58th annual general mody meeting on Sunday at SIAA premises, president R Sarath Kumar said a decision on Asin\'s action would be taken by the Joint Consultative Committee at a meeting soon. Asin went to Colombo for the shooting of Ready,\' co-starring Salman Khan. On July 11, she visited Jaffna, the first actor to do so in 30 years, accompanied by the wife of Sri Lankan president Mahinda Rajapaksa. Some SIAA members demanded that a red card be issued against her, and Sunday\'s AGM was expected to come up with a road map on the issue of actors visiting Lanka. Actor Karunas is planning a pilgrimage to a temple in Sri Lanka, a proposal condemned by actors like Satyaraj.
While the issue of stars crossing the Palk Straits continues to simmer, Sarath Kumar on Sunday hoped a mutually acceptable solution would be worked out by the JCC, which comprises the Film Employees Federation of India, SIAA, Tamil Film Producers Council, South Indian Chamber of Commerce (SIFCC) and directors association among others.
\"We all need to be on the same page,\" he said. A resolution, asking actors to confer with SIAA before planning trips to the island nation, had been passed in the interim.
The SIAA has set August 15 as the deadline for actors to enrol with the SIAA, failing which they will not be permitted to act in Tamil films.
The AGM also witnessed support for actor Vijay, from whom the theatre owners association has been demanding a refund for losses suffered due a string of flops of his films, including the latest Sura\'. \"Actors cannot be held responsible for box office performance,\" said the resolution.
This year Vijay may end up as the actor with maximum releases. His sudden shift of gear is making the right noises in the right time at the right places. Even as he was doing âKaaval Kadhalâ, Vijay announced the next project âVelayudhamâ.
After that Vijay had agreed to do films for Seeman and Lingusamy. Though every one expected Seeman would begin his film first now the sources say Lingusamy will move first. Also his fans wait for the â3 Idiotsâ remake under Shankar which is expected to start in October.
Meanwhile Vikaram K. Kumar has also moved inside the Vijay den. After dropping the film \'24\' which was supposed to have happened with âChiyaanâ Vikram, the young director had narrated a story to Vijay and Vijay liked it. When Vijay shared the decision with his father SA Chandrasekaran, he also approved and the film is likely to start early next year. This Vijay film to be directed by Vikram K. Kumar will be produced by AM Ratnam, the once high profile producer who produced the block buster \'Ghilli\' with Vijay in 2004.

The launch of Amma creations and Uniq productions Kanimozhi was a grand affair at the Kalaignar Arangam on Thursday (July 22) evening.
Producer T Siva welcomed the guests while Nasser acted as emcee for the evening. A short trailer which was an animation of lead actors Jai and Shazahn Padamsee was screened along with three songs from the film.
The audio was attached to blue and white balloons and later detached from the bunch by actor Jai and handed to the Kalaignar who released the audio. The audio was received by Ilayathalapathy Vijay amidst much cheering from fans.
Prior to the launch, a welcome Thiraivanakkam was sung live along with a welcome song for the CM. Said T Siva, âKanimozhi MP agreed to let us use this title after hearing the story. We started in April and completed the shoot in 46 days using 67 rolls of film. Director Sripathy Rangasamy has done a well planned execution of the shoot with no wastage of time or film.â
Said Vijay: âThe title is very good. In fact I always felt that all the names of the Kalaignarâs family have powerful names and would make powerful film titles. I wish the team all the best. Jai is a good actor who acted in Bhagvathy with me. My son is a big fan of the way he shakes his head in Subramaniyapuram.â
